Privacy Policy.

WhatsCost provides informational home-project cost estimates and, when you ask for them, matches you with local professionals. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. It is a plain-language summary and not legal advice; have a professional review it before you rely on it.
What we collect
- Information you enter in a quote request: your name, phone number, ZIP code, and project details. The cost estimator itself needs no personal information.
- Usage data: pages viewed, approximate location, and device or browser type, collected through privacy-conscious analytics to improve the site.
How we use it
- To match you with up to three local professionals or lead partners you consent to.
- To operate, measure, and improve the site.
How we share it
When you submit a quote request and check the consent box, we share your request with the local professionals or lead networks that fulfill it, so they can contact you about your project. We also use analytics processors that handle usage data on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information beyond the quote-matching you choose to start.
Consent
Consent to be contacted is requested only in the quote form and is never a condition of using the estimator. You can decline contact and still see every price range.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and basic functionality. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
